A controversial topic to say the least, eh?
I'm a big fan of both, although I don't play anymore, as they're both such good games for different reasons. I won't go into depth, I'll leave that up to you guys!
Be nice!

That's a really tough decision, they both have their goods and bad's. Battlefield is more realistic, but has less players. CoD has a lot more people, but not as realistic. In my opinion, I rather call of duty just because of the shear amount of people you can mess with, but it really depends in what mood you're in!

Call of Duty has the better gameplay and is more fun IMO, if that's where it's all about it would win. But it's not where it's all about. Okay so lets begin here: Call of Duty has an enormous amount of bugs and is badly coded, the rate of fire for example, it's defined by the FPS you have (frames per second) not by time. So when there is alot of smoke you shoot slower. then on PC there are an absolute shit amount of hackers and every lobby has one. That gives it alot of min points. it's just a cheap game and every new year it's about the same. when you put MW3 on max settings, and when you pot Ghosts on max settings it looks excactly the same. Ghosts looks even slightly worse in my opinion. That makes it the game that loses from battlefield. this year they screwed up. right on the moment where they should've flamed. but they didn't COD is going to die in a few years, believe me.

For me , COD it's like an arcade game , you're in the game instantly you don't need to think instead of BF because you need to be strategic and stuffs like that... But I like both

I wouldn't say CoD will die soon, only if they decide to phase it out...theres to many people who just enjoy picking a controller up and quickly killing some fools.

I agree with Marcellus and Daiizin, CoD is more for the casual gamer that just wants to relax and not think too much, which is why it won't die out anytime soon (unlees they completely change it).

As long as their is simple-minded people, there will be simple minded games like CoD. The new Battlefield isn't perfect, but I would rank it leagues above any CoD. (No offense to anyone who plays/enjoys CoD, but it's not like it's the hardest game to be good at.

Putting my opinion (finally) about this topic I've played COD: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 and I'm gonna be honest... COD:Ghosts sucked. COD:Ghosts had too many invisible walls, you can't go anywhere other than where the story tells you to go. Battlefield 4 had an okay campaign, but it was too short. On to Multiplayer Battlefield had an array of weapons, but got confusing pretty quickly Ghosts had weapons, alot of them, but the most over-powered ones were usually the ones you get later on when you level up. I would like to change my choice from "hard decision" to "Battlefield"
