What types of pet-peeves do you have about people these days and their technology usage? What do you wish was available, but is not?
I think that social skills will be lacking because people will be too focused on their phones instead of what is around them. Already, there was a case where some guy pulled out a gun on a subway train, but everyone aboard was on their phone so they paid the poor guy no attention.
The guy just wanted attention.

What I hate most, is that most computers come with spell check pre-installed, and people still don't use. I can't stand the lethargic typing that I see online.

The biggest thing I hate about technology is texting while driving, I can't stand it while I'm in the car with someone driving and they start to check their phone and shit. The biggest thing I can't wait to come out, technology wise, is either a mini projector in your phone (you can project what's on your phone screen to a wall or desk, etc.) or a high end Virtual Reality headset (like the Oculus Rift, but finished and publicly available)

high end Virtual Reality headset (like the Oculus Rift, but finished and publicly available) This. Tech was such a luxury but nowadays it's so engrained into our lives no one can live without it (excluding tribes, ofc). Even elder people whom think they don't defiantly do - whether it be a credit card or spending cash. Of course, we do lose some social aspect to our lives because of technology. Tribes live quite comfortably (not as comfortable as us, granted) and make do with what they have which in many ways I would enjoy - but then I'd loose you guys....but still. We lose a lot in terms of sociality. Facebook is a massive example. Instead of going to physically see your friends and family, it's easier to talk to them through Facebook.

My pet peeve of technology is how reliant we are. I mean in school if we don't have our "Smartboard" Which just wastes literally 10 minutes of a period to just fuckin fix Why not use a thing called a chalk board?

Oh god, I remember those things (haven't used one since grade school). The last encounter I had with one of them was my teacher wrote on it with a dry erase marker, it was hilarious (their were marks all over it and they ultimately had to get it replaced)! Now we just use white boards but I have to agree we have become so reliant on technology, then again when you look at the Amish I'm not complaining

Still, a balance would be lovely instead of being so heavy on technology. If we lost power so many people would be screwed

The metro( at least in Denmark) is an automated train which closes its doors after 30 seconds or so, which means that some people or groups will be close to crushed or seperated when using the metro, but instead they could just have used a train driver like in the standard train, but i guess they would lose some money on that.

In my English class, we are required to post all of our work on a blog for grading. My teacher only accepts electronic assignments. She no longer will accept handwritten papers, or any paper copies for that matter.

Fukushima is a good example of how technology has failed us.
