When I was a semi-professional gamer, I used Astro A40s for everything - including music. God those things were hawt. Currently, I use some Sony (not sure what exaclty) headphones.
My PC is an Acer Laptop called TravelMate, P253-E. Intel B830 1.8HGz & 2MB L3 Cache. Only cost me £300. I'm not good with computers and don't play high quality games so anything that runs fairly fast, is light and loads fast gets my vote!
Although I envy people with good PC's......

I looked at the A40's but was never sure on how they would play bass since they were gaming headphones. I'll have to reconsider them!

I'm thinking of making my next computer (now that I'm going more into tech I want to customize my computers), any tips?

Yeah take as many fans as you can and choose your components according to your needs (Good graphic card and processor for gaming , if you make music a good sound card etc)

My computer is a piece of trash that's 5-6 years old and freezes up here and there. I got an Acer Inspire nothing much to it and some good speakers with a sub woofer, I don't care as long I can play music . Going to get a custom built computer and new system and such. About the headphones, it all comes down to personal reference. As for Sennheisers... I would go for some more affordable headphones. There are a variety of good performing ones that are multimedia around the $60- $120 range.
